Our maple syrup is hand crafted in northern Michigan on a wood-fired evaporator. Each bottle contains only one ingredient – 100% maple syrup.

Our sugar bush is located on 80 acres of northern hardwood forest, with an abundance of sugar maples. At the end of winter, when temperatures begin to rise above freezing during the day, sap begins to flow within the trees and we know it is time to tap!

It takes about 43 gallons of raw sap to make one gallon of finished maple syrup. That’s a lot of water that needs to come out! Using reverse osmosis and evaporation, we get the sugar content to 66% to make syrup.

Each batch of syrup can vary in color and clarity, ranging from a very light golden color in late February to a dark amber color as the season winds down in April. It all tastes delicious, with the darker syrup having a more robust maple flavor.

Tapping the trees for the 2024 season!
